Are you considering newborn photography but have some questions? Don't worry, I'm here to help!
As a Clarksville newborn photographer, I understand the value and importance of capturing these early moments of your baby's life! If you're a new parent, you're probably overwhelmed with all the decisions you need to make. Newborn photography doesn't have to be one of them.
Let me guide you through the process and provide you with all the information you need to capture the early moments of your baby's life.
1) What do you provide in your newborn sessions?
2) When do you suggest booking our session?
Book while you’re still pregnant! So that I can provide every client with an extraordinary experience, I only take a few clients each month. So, the sooner the better!
Next, the session will take place around 5-12 days after birth. They’ve had a chance to cuten up a bit but they are still super tiny. Plus mom has a chance to recover a bit before getting in front of the camera! Obviously you won’t know when your baby will be born unless you have a scheduled C-section. We can always move your session date as needed. Just keep me posted!
3) What if my baby doesn’t sleep?
It’s incredibly rare for a baby not to sleep for at least a portion of our session. My clients call me the "baby whisperer" when they come to the studio because I have many tricks up my sleeve to coax your little one back to sleep.
4) How long will it take to get my photos?
I know you want to see those precious photos as soon as possible! That’s why we schedule your viewing appointment 7-10 days after the session. It takes 4-6 weeks to receive your professional retouched images. Be patient as we meticulously retouched every image to make you and your baby look their very best! We take care of things such as flakey skin, dark circles and we can even give you a photoshop diet!
5) Can my husband and other children be in the photos?
Of course! The whole family is welcome. We will even include the grandparents! Our studio is know for our black and white relationship portraits. These are my absolute favorite images and you don't want to miss out on these images!
6) How long is the photo session?
Newborn sessions can take up to three hours depending on your baby's needs. Your baby's comfort and safety will be our highest priority. We allow plenty of time for as many feedings and diaper changes as needed.
7) What if I don’t want my baby’s photos online?
I understand that some parents don’t want photos of their little one online. If that’s your choice, no problem!
8) What should I look for when hiring a newborn photographer?
It's important to choose a photographer who specializes in newborn photography and has experience working with infants. At my studio, I have 19 years of experience working with newborns and their families. I'm dedicated to providing a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable experience for you and your baby. I understand the importance of capturing these early moments, and I take pride in creating beautiful, timeless memories that you'll cherish for years to come. I am also an Award Winning Certified Professional Photographer.
