Mother, Photographer, Horse Enthusiast, & Dog Lover!

For as long as I can remember, horses and photography have been at the heart of who I am. Growing up in Georgia, I spent countless hours in the barn with my horses—my favorite place in the world. My love for photography began when I first picked up a camera to capture moments of my horse and dog. Little did I know, that was the start of my photography career!

When my children were born, I wanted to document every stage of their lives, knowing how fast those precious moments would pass. I was right—it went by in a flash! That’s when my passion for photography evolved into a business. I still find it hard to believe I’ve been doing this for 20 years now! Time truly flies.

I cherish every moment with my children and their spouses (still waiting patiently for those grandkids!). When I’m not photographing families in Clarksville, you’ll find me riding horses or relaxing at home with my Miniature Australian Shepherd, curled up under a cozy blanket.

Greg Sand - Graphic Artist

Greg Sand brings your portraits to life. In addition to graphic design and image processing, Greg provides complete in-house custom retouching. A finished portrait is the result of his tremendous skill, training, and application techniques. The quality of his work is fully reflected in our portraiture. As a result, clients receive not only exquisite products but unique works of art to be cherished forever. Greg has been a valuable part of our team for 14 years.

Greg received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Austin Peay State University. He is an award-winning artist and photographer who exhibits his fine art across the United States.

Ashley Radcliffe - Studio Assistant

shley is an essential part of the Daphne’s Portrait Design newborn experience. During each session, she helps create a calm, relaxing environment for both baby and parents—assisting with gentle posing, styling props, and making sure every small detail is just right, from tiny hands to a smooth strand of hair.

She works closely alongside Daphne throughout newborn sessions to ensure safety, flow, and attention to detail at every step. Ashley also serves as our social media manager, capturing behind-the-scenes moments during sessions and thoughtfully sharing our finished artwork so others can experience the beauty and care that goes into each portrait.

Ashley studied photography in college and holds a degree in Graphic Communications Management from Georgia Southern University, bringing both a creative eye and a strong design background to the studio.
