Did you hate your “tween” years as much as I did? As I look back a images of me at that time I wonder if I actually had shampoo or a hairbrush! I also hadn’t not yet grown into my long legs. My cousin use to call me “spaghetti legs”! Thank you Ralph! This black and white image is of my daughter when she was about 10 years old. It is by far one of my favorite images to date. I can see her sweet soul and innocence every day in this image as it is hanging in my upstairs hallway. I don't ever want to forget that!
Babies are so adorable. Toddlers have those big, bright eyes and lets face it, they just do the cutest things that make them even more adorable. But, those tween ages are often forgotten. At ages 10-13, kids aren’t children anymore but aren’t quite teens.
I’m making it my personal mission to capture those lost preteen years. The goal is to help tweens look and feel beautiful and have unshakable confidence in themselves when they hit Middle and High School.
In comes the “WHO I AM” project
We are starting the “WHO I AM” photography project to fill in the forgotten photo years while enriching the lives of pre-teens. The main goal is to make pre-teens look and feel beautiful and be confidant in who they are.
Who we’re looking for
We are looking young girls for our photography project, ages 10-13. We will ask the model and their parents a few questions, then combine the text and photographs to create impactful piece of art.
Why “WHO I AM”?
We want to capture the personality of these tweens and record the last stage of their childhood before they become young ladies. We want them to realize their true beauty so that they are confident in themselves before they enter Middle and High School. Imagine the impact a single beautiful image can do for your tweens self image.
